About

MacIndie is dedicated to the independent Macintosh and iPhone developer.   At MacIndie, we’re Mac and iPhone developers too, and one of the things we noticed was that although there are a lot of resources on the Internet for developers, there wasn’t one site that could be the one-stop, go-to resource for Mac and iPhone developers at all levels of experience.

We hope to make MacIndie that “go-to resource” for you.  Our goal is to put together useful and practical articles and collections of code on a range of subjects, including:

  • Mac OSX and iPhone development
  • Back-end systems and services to enable both commerce (such as online stores) and enhanced applicaton functionality
  • Indie marketing/selling tools and strategies
  • Useful commercial and open source tools and code libraries
  • Audio/Video Podcasts covering advanced development topics and other issues of interest to the Indie mac/iPhone development communities.

Of course like anything, MacIndie will be an perpetual work-in-progress, and what we do and deliver here will and should be influenced by the Mac/iPhone Indie community.  Something you want to know about?  Topics you think we should cover?  Stuff we’ve missed – let  us know!  Contact us at  feedback *at* MacIndie.com or @macindie on Twitter.  We can’t promise to respond to every email or tweet, but we do read everything and will do our best to deliver useful and actionable info to you…
